In a significant development in the crypto world, an unidentified individual has deposited 26.9 BTC Bitcoin, equivalent to $1.19 million, into the Genesis wallet, the first ever created on the Bitcoin network by Satoshi Nakamoto. This transaction, which occurred two days after Bitcoin’s 15th anniversary, has sparked intrigue and speculation within the crypto community.

The mysterious deposit was made through a series of complex transactions involving various addresses, with the majority of the funds traced back to a wallet believed to be owned by Binance, a popular cryptocurrency exchange. Some speculate that the individual behind the transfer may potentially be known to the Binance compliance team due to Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

The Genesis wallet has remained relatively inactive since Satoshi’s disappearance in 2010, primarily accumulating trivial dust transactions. However, this latest deposit significantly increased the wallet’s balance to approximately 99.68 BTC, which is currently valued at around $4.3 million.
